Not a great idea.
If you must fast, then do but continue to drink liquids. You cannot allow yourself to dehydrate or you will end up in hospital with an I.V. which will definitely end your fast. The Coran allows you to put off your Ramadan fast for health reasons (or for pregnancy) and you may wish to do so until you have takedown but even then a difficult Fast like this one should not be done in the summer months when one has a pouch.

I thank you for all of your timely responses.

The first day did not go so bad and that was with poor preparation.

The fast is from about 5 am to 8:30 pm. I am drinking about 3-4 bottles of 20 oz gatorade with about 2-3 bottles of 16.9 oz water before 5 am.

It was a weird feeling that I haven't felt in a long time. I actually didn't feel "heavy" today at all when in the previous months I have had this feeling daily.

If the fasting doesn't seem to be going too well then I will not proceed.
