1week post take down pain

Hi everyone, I'm now 1 week post take down and all seems to be going well apart from I keep getting these kind of waves of pain in my stomach, they only last about 10 seconds then go but when they come they really hurt and make me feel sick. I know everything's still new so just wondering if this is normal? I got an ileus after surgery that lasted about 4 days then everything started working could it be to do with that?

It sounds normal. I had these crazy spasm pains for a couple of weeks then it all calmed down. Everything is healing inside you. Of course any kind of severe pain isn't normal and if that happens you should see your surgeon.
