Ten years down stream from my Step 1 j-pouch surgery so thought I'd check in to the site that provided support in those early days. Thank you. In a nutshell, it took about a year post take-down to appreciate that the pouch was the right decision. Spent three nights in hospital since TD with blockages ... all self inflicted. I am healthy and active.
