It’s not clear from your post exactly what your objective is. Xanax will slow down motility and transit time, but there are other drugs better designed for those objectives. I don’t know what other result you would get besides those two. Anti-spasmodics work better on slowing down motility and anti-diarrheals like loperamide will work better at thickening up the stool. On the other hand if your objective is to be in a sedated state for airplane flights, or get a better sleep, Xanax will help.
