When I was having blockages with my loop, my surgeon took me back to surgery to open up the stoma hole more. It worked for under a day and then I went back to having blockages again.

Mine ended up being a twisted bowl after several blockages.

I was in extreme pain for 14 hours while they dug around into my stoma trying to figure it out. I never had pain so intense. I will never forget it.

She finally decided I needed surgery. She saw that took down the loop and hooked my pouch up.

End of that part of my journey. But the beginning of another.
