Reply to "Whipple surgery at 30 years question"

hi borislav,

i urge you to get a second opinion as i did years ago when my gastroenteroligist proposed to me the possibility of needing a whipple.

today my duodenom looks like someone did surgery on me, its clean of polyps and the surgeon i saw for a second opinion said he makes a living from surgeries and has children going through college, i did not require a whipple surgery and im now almost 45 years old

i have fap also and just because you have fap does not mean you need you duodenum removed and part of pancreas and part of stomach

i'll be getting a 2nd opinion after my gi of 20 years has threatened i may face a partial gastrectomy following low grade dysplasia polyps found 1.6 cm and 2.3 centimeters

dont be afraid, ask questions, its a major operation and just because you have fap does not mean you need a whipple surgery

good luck

len

What did you drink to make your duodenal polyps go away after you gave up whipple surgery or did your duodenal polyps go away on their own just by dieting
