I just realized I never responded! I’m sorry!! My surgeon ended up giving me the catheter but it doesn’t work for me 😭 when I try to remove the catheter, my sphincter clamps so hard on it and the two little holes on the end of the catheter end up scraping me so bad. I’ve tried multiple times but it does the same thing every time. I’m really bummed. Fortunately I have an appt at mayo in two weeks! I’m hoping they’ll be able to give me some advice and answers. Its okay dear And I am sorry to hear all of this! I do not know any other option but a temporary ileostomy bag to give your J-pouch a break. Are you open to that???
