As far as I know, most of what we absorb is absorbed in the upper G.I tract: from the mouth to the end of the small intestine...B vitamins are absorbed sublingually... most others through the small bowel...if you have had the distal ileum removed then you would have problems absorbing the B's through normal food intake...For the rest...only your doctor and your blood work can tell you what works for you.
