Reply to "Vitamin, ferritin, b12, D3 deficiency"

I was told oral vitamins would not do anything do to not having a colon. This doesn't seem to be the case for many of you. B12 was low so my Dr. Started me on B12 injections, ferritin was low so now I'm on I.V. infusions. So oral vitamins work despite having no colon ? I do have infections ( pouchititis) and have blood from pouch each intibation but not a lot. I've had cancer three times, 22 surgeries scar tissue, adhesions and severe nerve damage due to all this and sepsis. I'm on pain management. I'm nearly 60 and pretty much just a naturally happy person but the exhaustion is overwhelming. Thanks for answering.
