Does anyone have experience with the University of Virginia's Digestive Health Center in Charlottesville? I had Steps 2 & 3 at the Cleveland Clinic (take down was last November). However, Cleveland is too far to develop a GI relationship, and from my own research, not many GI's in Southwest Va where I live have j-pouch experience. The Digestive Health Center website states they perform j-pouch surgery and the bios of their docs show j-pouch experience. I have an initial appointment later this month. Just wondering if anyone can share their own experience with the center, and in particular their GI docs. Thanks!
