I am so sorry to hear this. My pouch was very challenging for almost two years. (Even, then did not regret getting it) Had one blockage and surgery 6 mos. post...and still had issues. Never pouchitis, not much that anyone could think of. My Dr. put me on Rifaximin, four weeks...and life started changing. That is the last drug I took. I also changed my diet. I honestly think it took my pouch 2.5 years to mature. My pouch is 3 years old...and I have never ever felt better in my life...I mean I feel fantastic. I feel normal.
