JPouch since 2010. I suffered pretty much since with butt burn and incintinence, finally couldn’t take it anymore so went to a doctor. He prescribed Questran. Totally night and day, it’s heloed with butt burn and incontinence. My doctor told me the the ileum is where the bile acids are absorbed and since that is where the pouch is connected does absorb enough for us and causes the butt burn. Questran binds to these acids and helps it!! If you search on this site for Questran you’ll find some good input. Hope this helps some. Believe me I suffered enough.
