Before the colonoscopy, my doctor told me he would have a diagnosis right after. But after the colonoscopy, he told me he would contact me later with results. Looking back, I think he had never seen a bad situation like mine, and wanted to do more research and get more opinions. He may have wanted to wait for biopsies as well.
