Tacrolimus Suppositories

My doctor wants me to try this for Cuffitis. I had my pouchoscopy done this last Wednesday and there is mild cuffitis. I told him I can barely stand the urge and the pain that goes with the cuffitis.

I tried looking it up and I guess it needs to be made at a pharmacy. And I doubt my insurance will cover it.

So has anyone else used this. I am currently using Canasa for 2 years now. It works but not great. Any information would be so helpful.
