It's okay.

I'm messing with you too.

Cat nap is just as old as 40 winks.

I had mine when I was 37 and I’m 40 now. So it hasn’t been that long but man, I used to have a ton of energy before (when I was healthy without the bad colon). I could do yard work for 4-5 hours at a time. Now I can prob do an hour or 1.5 at most before calling it a day. I just don’t have it in me. Maybe it’s that I never worked back up to the level that I was at before. I was never this super athlete. But I could do hours of yard work and then come in, watch tv and then clean the house like it was no big deal. I couldn’t think of doing that all in the same day, let alone the same weekend now.

Eh, maybe I’m over the hill, lol. I’m ok with it. I’m healthy.

I've had uc all my life. Of course I really did t know what it was until I had a flare up at 40 years old.  From that point on it was a struggle. Especially when I hit 50. After that it was hell. I worked 40 hours a week on hardly any sleep and kept up the yard work for close to a decade.  But it got so bad both physically and mentally it was going to put me in a grave. So I did something about it. I am the last person who thought an ileo would be my cure. Even tried a pouch for two years. That was worse than the uc. I went downhill fast and had it removed and have the ileo now.

I may not have the stamina I once had. But that's partly my own fault. I'm lazy. If I exercised I would probably be better. But exercise is so boring. I just can't bring myself to do it.

So..... I just get my "40 winks" or cat nap and I'm good to go again... Lol.
