It's a little uncomfortable, not a big deal. They will be checking for leaks. Wouldn't be a good situation if stool entered your pouch and then leaked into your body, would it? That could be Sepsis City. Which is one city you do not want to visit. So basically it's a standard drill to see if it's healed or leaking. At the 3 month mark you should be good to go and assuming you aren't leaky, you will be. It's very few people who fail their pouchogram. Certainly less than the number who fail the New York State Bar exam, which had a 69% pass rate when I sat for it in 1991.
