Post-Surgical Pouch Changes?

I've had a very very healthy pouch (only 2 very short bouts of Pouchitis cured with Cirpo and then VSL3) for 15 years.

Two weeks ago I had to have surgery to remove a 5" ovarian cyst, in the process I lost my right ovary and had to remove my fallopian tubes (hydrosalpinx from Ulcerative Colitis ramifications)

Since my surgery my pouch has been really really messed up.

The surgeons mentioned that my pouch was "fused" or attached to my Uterus with scar tissue and they detached them. Now I'm worried something functionally has changed.

I'm completely off of opiates, but I find going can be hard unless I'm getting a good amount of fruit/veggies/fiber in. Last night I had a big bowl of cereal before bed with some banana in it. And I was up 3 times in 4 hours of sleep with urges to go.

Anybody have any pelvic or other surgeries and notice that it took a while for your pouch to get back to normal?

I am praying that nothing got screwed up

God bless yall.
