I did not have issues at takedown/reconnection.

After my first surgery, it took about 5-6 days post-op for things to get going, necessitating the reinsertion of my nasogastric tube for decompression. My stomach was hugely bloated; not something you want with a 12"+ scar! (I had open surgery in 1991.)
