Reply to "Pneumonia Delaying My Remicade"

Having pneumonia between Remicade infusions is not what you want. I am hoping that as time progresses from my last infusion, which was March 26, the immune system will strengthen and enable me to fight it off. I have been dealing with it for 2 weeks now. The last two days have been better. I really need to have it clear up by May 6 so my next Remicade infusion on May 20 can be given. I have had a tendency to flare slightly towards the end of the cycle between infusions which is why I went from 8 to 6 weeks. So any further delays on the Remicade could be problematic. I also have a scope scheduled on May 22 and don’t want to put that off either.
