thanks - I was not aware of that - I am going to see my gastro soon so he can advise me - must be blood thinners out there that do not irritate the pouch - will say my open heart surgery recovery is going well (it was 12 weeks ago) - 69 years young and for the past 9 weeks walking twice a day (never miss; have a treadmill if temperature is below 10 and windy) and now up to 35 miles a week and no fatigue at all

I guess w/ my situation my gastro guy may not know enough about blood thinners and coronary arteries and my cardiologist may not know enough about a j-pouch but I would think there are those w/ a J-pouch that have had open heart surgery
