Partial Blocks and Irrigation Tube not working anymore

Hi all. I am 11yrs with a J pouch and have been pretty good until this past year. I was having gas, stricture. and some partial blocks no matter what I ate. I was suggested an irrigation tube which helped a lot for awhile but now it's not working that well. Have appointment to discuss possible surgery to reverse back to a permanent ostomy. Anyone have advice or similar ?
