Reply to "pain relief for bowel obstructions"

I had recent unrelated surgery and Oxy put me back in the hospital with an obstruction, my first in 20 years. My next time around I'll go with Toradol, a local anasthetic, or muscle through with Tylenol. I think I may have had pouchitis brewing though. Regardless, I'd rather have pain anywhere else than in my bowels.
