Oxycontin

Does anyone have experience with oxycontin? I was prescribed 30mg oxys every 12 hrs. I just wanted to know how well they worked for people
I'm coming off of a 50mcg fentanyl patch which wasn't helping much after starting on 100 and the surgeon said he liked these better and though they would work better than the patch.
