I feel so bad for him. He was out exercising and this happened. Damned if we do and damned if we don't.

Hopefully his employer will understand but he knows more about them so probably knows what will happen. I can understand if a company can't pay someone for that long but not allowing someone to come back sucks. Yes I said the dreaded word that my mother use to bawl me out for saying as an adult. I just reminded myself that I don't talk to her anymore

You will be fantastic for him and then might have a let down of sorts after he is well. That's the way some of us are wired. Good in the trenches but a mess when the war is over. Please take care of yourself too.
