Miracles come in small packages

HI guys,

This is a very unusual rave...(yes, I am raving (mad?) )...I went on my international week to Belgium to teach and was pleasantly surprised at how my pouch behaved...

I had been on antibiotics for 2 weeks due to bronchitis (not counting the summer on probiotics) and my pouch has been particularly cooperative since then.

Knowing that there was a handicapped toilet with sink (yeah! a sink!!! youppiii!) made the trip so much less stressful...I stuck to reasonable food choices (mostly proteins with small quantities of veggies or whole grain breads and a probiotic yogurt daily.

End result, no problems...not even in the train coming and going (ok fine...train toilets were not made for k pouchers...they are so tiny...I tried to get my stuff out of my purse and the sink started spraying me in the face and hair then I  jumped back only to have the hand dryer go off and blow dry my hair...it happened 3xs (intubation!)...every time I tried to pull away the toilet flushed and washed my tush with blue disinfectant...By the time I got back to my seat my perfectly straitened hair had been blown dry into an afro! I just pretended that nothing was wrong when my boss looked at me funny when I got back to my seat).

I have a new job too, there are 2 handicapped toilets there with sinks...so many little miracles!

On the other hand, I am back on the NSAIDs along with the tramadol...it gives me just enough relief that I am able to function and go to work without limping too much...like I said, miracles!

Sharon
