Reply to "Life and raising money for Crohns and Colits Research"

Congratulations! It sounds like you've been working hard and this is going to be an awesome experience. I did a CCFA walk few years before my surgeries that took around 45 minutes, lol. We raised a lot of money and I hope you raise more!

I've already donated to CCFA for the year so am sending you a simple fund raising idea instead of a contribution. I sent out emails to all of my family and friends including snail mail to ones without email. We raised enough money that our team came in 2nd place $$ wise. I'm sure you've done something like this all ready but wanted to tell you how successful we were. I met the nicest man and his family, they raised the most money as their whole small town was supporting the team. He had crohns and had to be attached to an IV 8 hours a day. He walked with his wife and 2 kids. It was a good experience and it sounds like your ride will be one for you and the other participants.

Please tell us how it turns out.

Good Luck and Thank You Big Grin
