Life after J Pouch-interested

Hi all. Want to hear from those of you who have gone through j pouch. I think I may need the operation. Tell me if life is good. Are you feeling like a normal human? Has your diet become really different after the getting your body back to normal from recovery of the operation? How many still have an occasional glad of red wine beer without their guts doing total cart wheels? Anyone still eat popcorn?

Any of you have active lives that you are able to maintain?

Please let me know as I my mind is so foggy right now.
