I had a small hernia 6 months after my redo surgery at my ileostomy site. I had to see a general surgeon as my colorectal wont do that surgery. I had what was called an onlay repair, basically over the muscle with mesh. this was over 3 years ago and it still feels weird in that area sometimes, like a pulling feeling.
