I had a mesh put in 2 yrs ago after my pouch twisted 360° for the second time. I don't seem to create enough scar tissue to help hold things in place. The Dr purposely roughed me up inside when he did the surgery to cause more scar tissue so I was quite sore for a while. The good news is the mesh is doing it's job, never bothers me that I can tell.
