Reply to "J pouch/bidet"

J-pouch In 2008. Never even thought about a bidet after all these years of pouchitis, irritation, wipes and blah blah blah. That all changed one year ago in anticipation of thumb/wrist surgery on my dominant hand.  It occurred to me that, after the surgery,I wasn’t going to ask my wife to wipe my butt 6-8 times per day. I had to teach myself to wipe w/other hand or find a another solution.  By coincidence I had recently experienced my first bidet at a friends house. So, prior to the hand surgery I bit the bullet  and purchased the same model as my friend in hopes it would also help with the other irritations etc. BEST INVESTMENT I EVER MADE!! The process takes a little time to clean & dry but I never need to dab w/tp. Do my business, clean, dry and bye-bye! Seat also has a warmer for those cold winter interrupted nights. Probably the biggest issue for many is that installation for this type requires a nearby GFI (“circuit breaker type”) outlet. Otherwise installation is VERY easy. TP is practically a thing of the past for me and what perfect timing. No worries about running out or stocking up....as long as the power doesn’t go out😂. I bought the Bio Bidet 600 through Bed and Bath with coupon. It was around $350.
