Reply to "Incomplete bowel movements and urgency!"

Yes bro its completely normal for the first few days/weeks after the operation. As you start to eat real foods and get off meds you body starts to respond to extra stool. The pouch is still very new so it takes some time to adjust. This varies for everyone. One of my friends ate very small meals for 1 month post takedown and had only 2-4 trips 1 week post surgery. I've been trying to bulk since day 1 of the surgery so I have to go atleast 4-5 times to even 6-7 sometimes. The days I fast or eat really small meals I go 2-3 times just like him. Over the time of 1 year your body will start to completely regulate the output and you'll empty the pouch at regular interval and not be even bothered by its thought. Till then I'd say not worry one bit. Everything except for blood with stool in the first 3 months is normal . Start doing alot of kegels daily it'll surely help you in many ways to hold back longer with every passing day 👍
