Incomplete bowel movements and urgency!

I’m fresh out of j pouch surgery and I’ve been having days of incomplete bowel movements with urgency to go to the restroom; however, not much is coming out and I feel like I still need to go after each bowel movement.

Has anyone experienced this and what did you do to alleviate it?
