I had it done with laparoscopy..5 years ago. Took a week off work to wait for the gas swelling of your belly to go down. Now, I have zero scars and zero issues. I'm not sure where my incisional hernia was located, but after surgery, the told me I had 3 hernias.

Probably because my 1st surgery was emergency slice and dice by a general surgeon.
