TE Marie, can I ask where you had your laparoscopic diversion to perm ileo and which surgeon?

I am still struggling to get even a second opinion here. I know some US doctors will do remote consults. (I think you are in the US?)

I am seeing a general surgeon today who did two minor surgeries on my dad. My dad told him about the trouble I have been having and he very kindly said he would see me and try to help me by acting as a sort of liaison to other surgeons and doing research for me on what my options are.

May I ask, if you were going okay once you got the ileo, what was the reason for later removing the j-pouch?
