I also noticed the year before my colon was removed my fingernails looked terrible.they all had like waves of thicker and thinner nail.I looked it up and read that when your body suffers a trauma your fingernails stop growing but then restart so my body was probably going through traumas were it stopped hair and nail growth while it figured out what was going on.i think.but my nails look normal now.

I now look at my nails and tongue to judge how healthy I am.Ive started cleaning my tongue also to remove bacterial overgrowth.I notice healthy people have nice pink clean tongues😛
