Reply to "Gallbladder Removal Help - Questions"

I had mine out 12 months ago through laporoscopy and inspite of the size of my galbladder (1kg, a record for France) they had no problem removing it at all and other than a few stray adhesions that he took advantage to snip, all went great...I recovered like I did from all the other laporoscopies...bloated with tons of gas for a few days, a bit of discomfort (tylenol was enough) and then...surprise! The pain was gone. No more nausea, no more feeling like there was a knife in my back or shoulder pain like I was having a heart attack...I only felt relief and wondered why I had waited so long to have it removed.
Since then no negative side effects, no change in pouch function or adverse reactions to foods...less gas, less discomfort and less idigestion.
All good.
