Reply to "FODMAP diet"

I have been following it, but not strictly. Kind of using it as a guide to calm down the gut. I think it works. The Monash fodmap app has been helpful for me to check foods to see if they are high in fodmap and therefore I should not eat much. Eliminating onion and garlic was the hardest for me, but you can make garlic oil and cook with that successfully and replace leek greens or scallion greens for any sliced or chopped onion. I think it has worked for me. I have also added the herbal supplements Dysbiocide and FC Cidal. I take 2 dysbiocides and 1 FC cidal per day (sometimes I forget) and if I am having tummy issues, I up the dosage to 2 each in the morning and 2 each at night. I have not given up wheat bread.
