fed up with j-pouch

hello all,

Has anyone gone from a j-pouch to an ileostomy and had success? I'm currently dealing with a stricture at the inlet to the j-pouch and just tired of having multiple blockages a month. I'm currently in the process of seeing someone at the Cleveland Clinic, so hopefully I will have some answers. I have had chronic inflammation in my pouch for 10 years. I'm also on entyvio.

Would it be better to stick with my pouch if they can fix it, or just go for an ileostomy? To be honest, I felt the best I ever felt when I had an ostomy the first time with my first surgery. let me know your thoughts.
