Dr. Shen's Rubber Band Treatment

I would like to hear from anyone who has gone through the treatment of using rubber bands to tighten the J-pouch. This treatment is used to stop the soreness in the cuff. I am considering traveling to New York to have this procedure by Dr. Shen. I appreciate any information that can be provided.
