Reply to "Discontinued Weber & Judd reservoir catheters"

Just an FYI, someone posted this comment in a Facebook group yesterday. It looks like they are still working on improving this product. I might just order 1 or 2 for now, and see what the next version looks like.

I’m still in need of a new catheter (I use the discontinued W&J). I tried the new Marlen that has a bullet tip and is 24” long that is supposed to replace the Weber and Judd. It’s so pliable that it bends in half. 😩 I wrote Lyle Felton and got this response today. Evidently I’m not the only one.

“We understand your concern that the material for the 24” catheter you sampled is too pliable. At the moment, we are offering 24” catheters in both 30 and 34 Fr in the material you sampled as well as our original catheter material which is much stiffer and less flexible. For the future, we are working on offering a 24” catheter in a third material that is the middle ground of our original material and the new, flexible material you sampled.”
