I take my Cipro at bedtime to steer clear of dairy/calcium - that also why I experimented with once-daily dosing, and confirmed that it worked fine for me. If you’re allowing a couple of hours of gap you’re likely to get good absorption of the Cipro - sources seem to vary regarding how much of a gap to allow. I had the speculative thought that I may not care about Cipro absorption if I’m using it to treat a problem within the gut (heck, I might prefer less absorption), but there’s not a shred of evidence to support this hypothesis of mine.
