Cipro

For several years I have been taken on an as needed basis Cipro for Pouchitis. Within the past year there have been 3 times it has effected my kidneys and have had several hospital stays. It has been determined I should not take Cipro any longer. Can you tell me if this has happen to you and what your recourse was. Thank
