I tried it once, and it wasn’t helpful for me. It binds to (sequesters) bile acids. It’s usually used for high cholesterol in the blood as well as some causes of itching. It helps some J-pouchers having trouble with frequency, I’d guess if their livers aren’t managing bile properly.
