I have read in more than one article that people with fast transit, salt is actually our friend. Aids retaining fluid. I would definitely talk to the doctor if you already have high blood pressure issues however. I think it’s better just always to keep it moderate, but I don’t eliminate it. That’s my personal choice. Probably the best solution is buying the electrolyte water. I think Pedialyte tastes horrible They may even add some citric acid of some sort which could be irritating. I just get regular electrolyte Clearwater from the grocery stores and it will say on them that they contain electrolytes. Normally health food stores like Whole Foods or New Seasons always have them but most common grocery stores now carry the same.  There are also recipes online for making electrolyte water.

Totally agree, I never tried pedialyte myself but its really popular on here. I love juice for hydration too. And they have low sugar and no sugar gatorade if you are ever looking for something new. And okay great! Thanks! I do not believe I ever saw Electrolyte Clearwater before. I mainly shop at Target so maybe they have it? Maybe its in the medicine or gatorade section?
