I took advil in hospital and within a short time after taking it I needed emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. After surgery the doctor told me I was one hour from death. I haven't touched Advil since that was 1989. I do believe it's because of the J-pouch I haven't heard any other problems with other people taking it.
