Indeterminant crohns/Colitus and chromo osteomyletis w J pouch age 14. ;Weekly Humira and pentasa and ceproflax antibiotic for past pouchitis.
16 days ago my 14 year old daughter had signs of blockage.  By day 3 if had passed but vomitting started.  We are now on day 16 of random Vomitting.  Bloodwork all looks good, improved appetite but daily ( usually after midnight) she vomits.   She has no other symptoms except random vomitting.... Perhaps added fatigue.
We had Barrium test yest and all looked good and are getting scheduled for yet another scope to check how pouch is doing. As you know..... It's very time consuming to get diagnosis and we are now on week 3 of no school.  Yep- school honors class wants her to take an 'incomplete' grade.  Very unfair as she has worked hard sept-present in this class.
Anyways-I'm just curious if anyone has dealt with vomitting like this?  It is not immed after eating.... UsuAlly 4-6 hours after w sum tummy cramps.    Other than that, some days she literally appears to be better until the nightly vomit kicks in.
Thoughts?

Sure sounds like a high obstruction, adhesion based, since everything is coming up negative. I have periodic obstructive symptoms (but no vomiting). My GI has placed a standing x-ray order for me to go in immediately when I am symptomatic for a film while it is ongoing. Once the moment has passed, there is nothing to see. That is why adhesions are so hard to nail down. Maybe her doc can place an order like that for her?

The bad news is that surgery is usually the only remedy.
