I have really debated going to the hospital this morning as it is free since I've met my deductible for the year . My bottom burns I've tried every thing on the market reading from here and at pharmacies and have sat on the toilet releasing gas so please just suggest that either.  Along with gas X and the peppermint  I'm so frustrated my stomach gurgles in a pain that I've ever experienced since take down in march. I haven't even seen my surgeon since take down in march .. I keep having accidents in bed, I use hypoallergenic baby wipes cottonelle with no scent along with a bidet and patting my bottom I see blood and like I said the gurgling is so painful I applied paste all day yesterday. And slept. This has been going on for awhile now and progressively getting worse idk what to do bc It has progressively gotten worse I get the sweats and just feel like I'm living in hell...  I am debating to go to my surgeron  this morning but don't want to be made as a wimp or anything .. I've spent countless wks in the hospital and get in the bathtub and cry just feeling sorry myself and thru the pain . Sometimes I wish I had never gotten the surgery and I had a accident tonight as well idk what to do im lost at word ..

I called dr on call and they believe it's pouchitis. I live in metro Atlanta , and am on the way there. I was only havingb1-2 BM since march and now I can't even count how many these past two wks and the pains gotten worse. Ill have BM's and literalllynwwnt to scream or punch or something and when I pat results in blood.. but usually that is treatable with my creams , I have tried every cream you could name. Even had steroid cream prescribed.. sometimes I wish I still had a bag .

Pouchitis is a possibility, but it wouldn't necessarily be my first guess. It depends on the timing. If this started with things like frequency, urgency, and cramping, and the painful bottom came later, then pouchitis makes sense. If the painful bottom came first then I'd be thinking about an anal fissure first. Hopefully the doctor will sort it out. If the blood is mostly just on the TP then it just goes along with the severe irritation of the skin, or possibly a painful hemorrhoid.

1-2 BMs per day is unusually low. It could be fine, but it could also indicate not enough water being consumed. If the stool is too dry/hard, the risk of anal fissures goes up.

Good luck!
