I hope you’re all well, my story is really long, so I’ll just go in and tell you all about the most recent stuff...I had an mri and a ct scan that showed some large lumps which they thought could be cancer the pouchoscopy results came back clear but on Monday I have to have a thin needle biopsy taken from and a large lymph node near groin.
they also found 3 pouch vaginal fistulas, I don’t know which questions to ask about them but I’m hoping I can find out more about them at my next appointment, symptom wise I had gas and discharge coming from tha vagina but no noticeable stool, the surgeon also found that my rectum has completely stricture with scar tissue, so I was sent to theatre for dilatation, since then things have been better but I’m have to self dialate, which is fine by me but I’m worries because it’s getting very tight again.
so...despite this right now I feel so good, me and my husband have 2 kids but I’ve alwya wanted a 3rd, does anyone have any advice for me?
Can you get pregnant with a pouch?
can you have sex with a fistula or does it make the fistula worse? (Me and my husband haven’t had sex for nearly a year)
any advice to do with any of hear issues would be so so helpful
