Hello All.

I am new to this forum.  I take care of my elderly mother who has a colostomy bag, she finds it hard to manage because she runs out of her barrier strips so fast.  She has very sensitive skin so it's hard for her to use some of the products that are supplied through her medicare on her person.  I was wondering if anyone had any Barrier strip supplies that they no longer need.  She uses a lot of them and we are on a fixed income.  I can only get 60 for 3 months supply from her medical company.  After that it's about $120.00 to bug and I just can't keep that up.  If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to chime in.

Hi - Be sure to contact Coloplast (or whatever brand your mother uses) to get on their mailing list.  They often mail out free samples.  You may want to try calling them too, and explain your situation.  You never know, they may be able to help you out, if you ask.  Good luck!
