If you're talking about capsules, the ordinary pouchitis dose is 8-16 capsules daily. Most people find the packets (Single Strength or Double Strength) a bit easier to deal with at that dose. Sometimes you can get insurance to cover the prescription-only double-strength (DS) packets.
